Both CI@SDSU and Barnard Elementary, one of the Confucius Classroom schools managed by the CI@SDSU, were delighted to receive the Hunan TV, a nationally televised station in China, which spotlighted SDSU and Barnard students at the Chinese Bridge Competition this summer. Kamaal Majeed, Rochelle Garvida, and Eddie Kapelczak were some of the many students who competed in various performances such as singing the Chinese song, "Kang Ding Quing Geng," performing acrobats and kung fu. The program was aired on Hunan Satelite TV channel, a Chinese TV network, on Aug 8, 2010.
